COMPASSION BY HEART FOUNDER
Davina Williams
My name is Davina Williams—wife, mother of three, and a follower of Christ who believes deeply in the calling to love thy neighbor. The vision for Compassion by Heart was born in November 2019, when I felt called to bring light, joy, and dignity into the lives of those in need.
THIS IS MORE THAN A BUSINESS TO ME, IT’S A CALLING
From a young age, as I faced health challenges of my own, I developed a deep compassion for caring for others—
whether through physical support or simply being present in their most difficult moments. That compassion, given to me from the Lord, only grew stronger as I cared for loved ones over the years, and it became clear that my heart was being shaped for a greater purpose.
That purpose was revealed when my own family’s needs collided with the responsibilities already on my plate. While raising my children, I also found myself caring for both my grandmother and my father. I wanted to give them everything they deserved, yet I was torn—stretched thin between parenting, family responsibilities, and caregiving. I experienced firsthand the guilt, exhaustion, and heartbreak of watching loved ones lose independence, pride, and comfort in the later stages of life.
In those moments of burnout and despair, I realized I was not alone and that asking for help was not only acceptable, it was necessary. Countless families face this same struggle—wanting the very best for their loved ones while feeling the weight of impossible choices. Compassion by Heart was created to meet that need: to walk alongside families, provide relief, and ensure that dignity, respect, and joy remain at the center of care.
This is more than a business to me—it’s a calling. Every caregiver we train, every family we serve, and every smile we help restore is part of the vision God placed on my heart years ago. With compassion, faith, and unity, we stand with families in their most sensitive seasons, providing the kind of care I once needed myself.
